Challenge

With a rich assortment of content to work with, Jerusalem U faced one major challenge connecting with their audience virtually and digitally while maintaining authenticity. The organization’s existing website required a complete revamp, powered by a strong E-commerce platform capable of delivering a media-rich experience integrating Jerusalem U’s feature-length and educational films. Distribution needed to occur via not just the website, but also social media, television, grassroots campaigns and more.

Solution

The team at Ameex presented Jerusalem U with a suggestion of moving to Magento as a proposed Content Management System (CMS). A number of functionalities were tailored specifically to JU’s website promotional code coupons, donation options and pre-order links were incorporated into a complete revamp of the site. Secured transactions adhering to PCI compliance are now possible via the Jerusalem U website, and important product pages are now structured with detailed license agreements that explain the “do’s and don’ts” of purchasing the organization’s products.

Perhaps most important, user experience was tailored to create an emotional connection with the audience when visiting the site-a key goal for Jerusalem U.
